It's NEW!

This Blog Has a New Address -- Visit it and Post 

MayesAndPryorPolitics.com  easy to remember and NOT case sensitive

We had to move it because this free site hosted by Google required that you have a Gmail account in order to post. Anyone can post on the new WordPress hosted site, and the NOT case sensitive name above is easy to remember. 

Visit our new site and post. We had 733 visitors to this site in the first two days it was running. 


I have never even visited a Blog, and now I have one.

Since 2 off the 3 County County Commissioners appear set on suppressing public comment on important issues; and the local newspapers don't always have the time, space, or perhaps the inclination to publish both sides of an issue, I have created this blog.

It's intended to be a place where anyone can discuss and share opinions without fear of suppression or censorship.

So who is going to be the first to post??

    I believe you may need a gmail account OR one of the other types listed in the drop down list. Since I set this up through google, I guess this may be the price to pay! Please, gmail account holders, give it a try.

    Well, it looks like I have a problem with the location of this site. It is hosted by Google, and to Post on it you must have a Gmail account! Bummer! It was nice however that the site was immediately listed on Google Search.

    Google does provide me with a lot of statistics though, just a sampling:
    In the first 2 days of its existence, it had:
    733 visitors, 45% coming from Facebook
    1 visitor from Germany, and 1 from Netherlands
    354 using iPhone
    234 using Android
    142 using Windows
    75 using iPad
    16 using Mac etc., etc.
    Just hope someone with a Gmail account will start posting!

    I am investigating today, moving the site to WordPress. Will let you know.
